PIADINA IS A CENTURIES OLD FLAT BREAD FROM EMILIA ROMAGNA WHERE BARBARA AND MAURIZIO ARE COMING FROM. THANKS TO THEIR EXPERIENCE THEY WERE ABLE TO ADAPT THE ORIGINAL PIADINA RECIPE USING ONLY ORGANIC LOCAL INGREDIENTS AND MAKE IT EVEN BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL ONE.

Vitaly offers a completely new product to California: Piadina and Cassone. It is a delicious, very old origins flat bread, cooked on a griddle and coming from Eastern Roman Empire. Piadina for many centuries did almost disappear from Italian tables but survived in an east area of our Emilia Romagna region named ROMAGNA were the special plates -named TESTO- used to cook it over fire were coming from. 

After mid ‘900 Piadina became popular again allover Emilia Romagna, usually made and sold from kiosks and it is now growing again allover Italy as a new street food flat bread style, alternative to Pizza, easier to cook and easier to associate with thousands of possible delis, yeast free and usually lower in gluten content. In Vitaly, customers can enjoy a small, top quality and truly authentic Italian/ Bologna Menu for both Dinner and Lunch. In Vitaly in the morning we also serve a full Breakfast menu.
